A “Phurba” generally is a three-sided peg, dagger, or nail like ritual implement that is used during Vajrakilaya practices and Puja. The Phurba is often stabbed down into a bowl of rice or other grains in Tibetan rituals. Phurba can be made from wood, bone, or metals such as copper and brass. This product “Deer Horn Phurba” is the phurba or ritual dagger which is made up of the horn of the deer as the name says. It is handmade and hand carved by one of our finest artisans who have been carving since long ago.
