Founded in 2020, ExportFromNepal.com is the “Gateway to Export From Nepal to Worldwide” — a global B2B–B2C hybrid marketplace and export facilitation ecosystem built to digitize, globalize, and scale Made in Nepal products and services. The platform is developed and operated by HIM Tech Inc. (USA) in collaboration with Export From Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (Nepal) and HIM Tech Group Pvt. Ltd. (Nepal), with logistics and fulfillment capability abroad supported through Export From Nepal, Inc. (USA).

Phase 1: What We Built and Proved (2020–2025)

In Phase 1, we focused on validating the model and building trust in cross-border commerce. We successfully:

  • Onboarded and supported a growing ecosystem of 1,000+ sellers and 10,000+ SKUs
  • Fulfilled orders to 50+ countries, with the United States as a flagship market
  • Led distribution of 350+ grocery products from 20+ Nepali brands in the U.S.
  • Established operational capability, including U.S. warehousing and fulfillment, executing thousands of retail and wholesale fulfillments, and scaling multi-warehouse operations as the program matured
  • Strengthened seller governance through compliance-led platform rules, buyer–seller dispute facilitation, and an escrow-like transaction approach designed to protect both sides

Phase 1 proved a core truth: Nepali brands can compete globally when trust, logistics, and marketing are engineered into one system — not left to chance.

Phase 2: What We Are Launching Now (2026 onward)

Phase 2 is our scale phase—built to expand our global footprint and strengthen seller success through deeper technology, structured seller programs, and partner enablement. Key additions include:

  • Structured seller account types (available globally):
    1. National Sellers (Nepal-based): Sellers operating from Nepal, selling at Retail, Wholesale, and Export tiers from Nepal.
    2. Foreign Sellers (Global): Sellers operating outside Nepal (e.g., USA/Canada/Europe) who sell Nepal-origin products at Retail and Wholesale tiers from their country—enabling faster local delivery and regional availability.
    3. Made in Nepal Center (Global – Virtual): ExportFromNepal.com sponsored country-based virtual storefronts where listings are promoted locally, but fulfilled from Nepal (ideal for diaspora demand and market testing).
    4. Made in Nepal GiftShop (Global – Physical): ExportFromNepal.com sponsored, partnership-based storefronts with physical inventory stored in-country (e.g., U.S. or other markets) for faster delivery, pickup, and omni-channel growth.
    5. Made in Nepal Prayas Center (Global – Nonprofit/Fundraising): ExportFromNepal.com facilitated nonprofit-driven model allowing organizations to run impact campaigns and fundraising using Made in Nepal products, from any part of the world.
  • Gen AI-enabled CRM and marketing system (3-tier model):
    1. Complimentary for compliant sellers
    2. Pay-as-you-go for flexible growth
    3. Subscription plans for scaling brands and teams
  • Seller-specific live chat + platform live chat, stronger RFQ workflows, and monitored multi-channel communication to accelerate wholesale/export conversion
  • Expansion of Made in Nepal Centers and growth of Affiliate Partner programs to support sellers with language, tech, lead nurturing, and regional representation
  • Continued scale-up of 3PL and warehousing support so brands can position inventory in key markets and grow faster through omni-channel fulfillment (including Amazon/Walmart/Etsy/Shopify/Faire and ExportFromNepal.com channels)

“Made in Nepal” Mobile App: One Login, Multiple Platforms, One Ecosystem

With the launch of Phase 2, we are also introducing our unified consumer mobile experience: the “Made in Nepal” App. This app is designed to showcase multiple platforms under the Made in Nepal Club Platforms ecosystem in one place—so buyers can:

  • Use the same email/login across multiple platforms
  • Maintain a unified user experience and one dashboard across four verticals, all in one place
  • Discover Made in Nepal products and services more easily—whether for domestic purchase, global export, or other ecosystem verticals as they expand

In addition, we are soon launching the “Made in Nepal – Seller App”, built for sellers and brand owners to manage their presence across the ecosystem through a single app—so a seller can operate across multiple Made in Nepal Club platforms without needing separate tools for each.


Founder Vision and Leadership Momentum

ExportFromNepal.com is founded and led by Raj Sarraf (Founder & CEO), whose long-term vision over the past decade has been to build Nepal’s own global export engine—where technology, trust, marketing, and logistics work together to make Nepali producers globally competitive. Raj is especially excited to welcome his long-time tech mentor, MIT Graduate Prakash Manandhar, who joined in January 2025 as Cofounder & Global CTO. With this addition, our Phase 2 mission milestones are closer than ever—bringing stronger engineering leadership, product scale readiness, and a sharper path to executing the Made in Nepal Club ecosystem at a global level.
