Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is an ExportfromNepal.com?

ExportFromNepal.com is the “Gateway to Export From Nepal to Worldwide”—a global digital marketplace and export facilitation ecosystem founded and led by Founder & CEO, Raj Sarraf, with a long-term mission to digitize, globalize, and scale Made in Nepal products and services. This is 1st of 6 platforms under the concept of “Made in Nepal Club Platforms ecosystem”. With a growing ecosystem of 1000+ sellers and 10,000+ SKUs, the platform has been leading the “Export From Nepal Worldwide” campaign, demonstrating how Nepali brands can grow internationally—with the United States as a flagship market. Through its AI-powered platform and the “Made in Nepal” mobile app, ExportFromNepal.com helps sellers, buyers, and diaspora contributors collaborate to make Nepal a recognized global trade partner. The platform supports retail, wholesale, and export through digital infrastructure, Gen AI-based CRM and marketing tools, smart logistics coordination, compliance-driven seller governance, and global partnership networks. To further strengthen export readiness, ExportFromNepal.com has also expanded into 3PL and warehousing support (including U.S.-based capability) to help Nepal brands position inventory internationally and scale faster—because we believe 10% export growth annually is only the beginning; together we can go much further.

What types of transactions does ExportFromNepal.com support?

ExportFromNepal.com is built to support end-to-end trade workflows for Made in Nepal products and services—serving buyers and sellers across retail, wholesale, export, and omni-channel ecosystems, with optional CRM, AI marketing, affiliate support, and 3PL/logistics integration.

  • Retail (select categories): Direct-to-consumer purchases from Nepal-based and eligible global sellers.

  • Wholesale & bulk trade: MOQ-based wholesale, institutional supply, distributor pricing, and recurring bulk procurement.

  • Commercial export orders: Larger cross-border orders (including pallet/container-level) with export documentation coordination and compliance readiness support (as applicable).

  • Brand distribution & private label: Brand representation, exclusive distribution arrangements, and private/white-label sourcing for qualified buyers.

  • Omni-channel sales (online + physical): Sales through the platform plus fulfillment via Nepal dispatch or country-based warehousing/3PL (e.g., U.S. or other regions), including multi-marketplace order flows (Shopify, Etsy, Walmart, Amazon/warehouse shipment models, etc. where applicable).

  • Fundraising & nonprofit-driven commerce: Impact commerce through programs such as Made in Nepal Prayas Center, enabling nonprofits and social initiatives to fundraise using product-based campaigns with transparent reporting.

How can non-profits participate?

Non-profits can participate through the Made in Nepal Prayas Center program by opening a Prayas Center (Seller) Account and running product-based fundraising campaigns that directly support Nepal. This program is open to Nepali-origin and non-Nepali nonprofits—as long as they support Nepal in some meaningful way (projects, community programs, relief, education, culture, etc.) and advocate for Made in Nepal products and producers.

Through Prayas Center, non-profits can:

  • Fundraise using products (souvenirs, artisan goods, curated bundles) while supporting grassroots livelihoods in Nepal

  • Run impact-driven campaigns globally, including community outreach and diaspora engagement

  • Host physical fundraising events (local community events, pop-ups, cultural events), and gala-style fundraising (in-person or online/virtual)

  • Promote their dedicated Prayas Seller Account, where products are typically fulfilled from Nepal under the program setup

  • Offer custom souvenir options, including logo engraving/branding on approved items for donor recognition, event memorabilia, or sponsor packages

In short, Prayas Center turns Made in Nepal products into a fundraising engine—helping nonprofits raise funds while giving global supporters a meaningful way to contribute to Nepal through every purchase.

Do you provide warehousing and 3PL services?

Yes. ExportFromNepal.com supports warehousing and 3PL services through Export From Nepal, Inc. and trusted partners. Our 3PL capabilities include U.S.-based warehousing coverage (East, West, North, South), pick-pack-ship for retail orders, wholesale case-pick, pallet handling, and bulk storage and distribution nationwide.

Proven operating history (U.S. journey):
Our 3PL journey began in 2021. Between 2021–2025, we hosted partner inventory of 400+ SKUs across 5 warehouses, totaling 35+ container-equivalent volumes. During this period, we successfully executed:

  • 1000s of retail fulfillments
  • 1000s of wholesale fulfillments
  • 100s of pallet-size fulfillment and freight movements
  • Nationwide warehousing, distribution, and logistics support across the U.S.

What’s next (One country at a time):
We are now confident and ready to expand this program to support Nepali brands from Nepal as well as Nepali-origin brands already operating in the U.S. Next, we plan to expand gradually to Canada, Europe, Australia, and beyond—one country at a time. We have developed a competitive U.S. pricing model covering multiple volume tiers, and an MOU is ready for interested partners.

Who owns product IP and content?

In general, product intellectual property (IP)—including the seller’s trademarks, brand names, product designs, formulations, and any original product photos/videos provided by the seller—belongs to the seller. ExportFromNepal.com is committed to promoting Nepali brands globally using our Gen AI-enabled CRM and digital marketing tools, so content ownership is handled in a structured way to protect both parties.

Content ownership rules (practical policy):

  • Seller-owned IP (default):
Any content the seller creates independently and provides to the platform (product descriptions, images, videos, certificates, brand story, etc.) remains seller IP, unless the seller explicitly transfers rights in writing.

  • Platform-owned marketing assets (complimentary / platform-created):
Any marketing content created by ExportFromNepal.com as part of complimentary support (including AI-assisted creatives, templates, ad copies, banners, edits, and platform-produced promotional materials) is owned by the platform, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Paid marketing or subscription work (seller-owned deliverables):
If content is produced under a paid subscription or paid service engagement (including work performed through partner services such as Yaa AI under a separate MOU), then the final deliverables are treated as seller IP, unless the paid agreement states otherwise.

  • Platform-branded assets (logo rule):
Any content originally created by the platform that includes ExportFromNepal.com / Made in Nepal Club platform branding or logo is considered a platform asset, and platform ownership supersedes even if the seller later modifies or repurposes it—unless written permission/licensing terms are granted.

This approach ensures sellers retain ownership of their brands and products, while the platform can protect and manage the promotional assets it creates to maintain brand integrity, compliance, and consistent global marketing standards.

Can partners or sellers exit later?

Yes. Partnerships and equity-based projects may have defined maturity/vesting periods and allow cash-out based on mutual agreement or valuation.

Are ExportFromNepal.com and HamroSaman.com the same platform?

  • No. They are sister platforms under the broader Made in Nepal Club Platforms ecosystem—where ExportFromNepal.com is the 1st platform and HamroSaman.com is the 2nd platform. They share the same governance standards, seller compliance rules, and technology backbone, but they serve different missions and delivery scopes:

    • ExportFromNepal.com — “Gateway to Export From Nepal to Worldwide”
Mission/Tagline: Expanding Made in Nepal products and services growth globally.
Focus: B2B, wholesale, export, brand scaling, and global sourcing, including optional international fulfillment through country-based warehousing/3PL where available.

    • HamroSaman.com — “जहां सबै छ र जे छ आफ्नै छ” (English: “Where everything is available—and whatever you get is truly our own.”)
Mission/Tagline: Helping reduce Nepal’s dependency on imported items by promoting domestic production and local buying.
Focus: Retail consumer marketplace where buyers can be global, but delivery happens within Nepal only (domestic fulfillment).

Is revenue sharing transparent?

Yes. Each campaign has defined margins, clear reporting, and ethical/fair-trade principles.

Are logistics costs included in commission?

No. Logistics, warehousing, and 3PL costs are billed separately and treated as operational expenses.

Do you use CAPTCHA or security checks?

Yes. Platform security includes bot protection, risk-based verification, and compliance monitoring. Mobile apps may use invisible/backend verification for a better UX.

What is your long-term vision?

To build a global Made in Nepal ecosystem, omni-channel marketplaces, export intelligence platforms, and supply-chain transparency from raw materials to finished goods.

Which countries does ExportFromNepal.com operate in?

ExportFromNepal.com operates globally, with active exports to 50+ countries and stronger operational presence in key regions including:

  • United States (flagship market)

  • Canada

  • Australia

  • Europe

  • Asia-Pacific

  • Middle East

Beyond direct exports, we have also established 50+ country-based virtual storefronts called “Made in Nepal Center” (one per country/region), designed to localize product discovery, campaigns, and seller-to-buyer engagement for each market. Our expansion model is powered by a growing ecosystem of Affiliate Partners, non-profit organizations supporting Nepal welfare initiatives, and global Nepali brand lover influencers who help promote Made in Nepal products and services in their local regions.

Our strategic roadmap is to expand from 50+ active markets to 130+ countries—matching the countries where Nepali products have already reached historically—while also strengthening two-way global relationships, including markets where Nepal not only exports but also imports goods and equipment from those countries.

For Global Buyers

Who can buy from ExportFromNepal.com?

ExportFromNepal.com is designed to serve both everyday buyers and professional procurement teams, supporting purchases across retail, wholesale, and export tiers—whether you’re sourcing a single item, placing bulk orders, or building long-term supply relationships with Nepal-based producers and global sellers of Nepali-origin goods.

Buyers on ExportFromNepal.com may include:

  • Individual retail customers (domestic or international, for eligible products)

  • Individual international buyers (select products and destinations)

  • Wholesale buyers (MOQ-based bulk purchasing)

  • Importers & distributors (regional or nationwide distribution)

  • Retail chains & boutiques (curated retail procurement)

  • Corporate & institutional buyers (procurement for offices, programs, and operations)

  • Corporate gift buyers (seasonal, employee/client gifting, custom bundles)

  • INGOs, NGOs & nonprofits (ethical sourcing, impact procurement, fundraising-linked commerce)

Do I need multiple accounts to sell different products?

No. You only need one account. You can select multiple seller roles during registration, sell across different categories, and even purchase products as a buyer using the same account.

Do you support wholesale and bulk orders?

Yes. ExportFromNepal.com is built to support wholesale, bulk trade, and commercial export procurement—from MOQ-based orders to pallet, container, and recurring supply contracts. We help buyers and sellers move faster and more confidently by combining RFQ workflows, transparent communication tools, and trade-ready coordination.

Wholesale buyers can:

  • Submit RFQs (Request for Quotation) with MOQ, target pricing, specifications, packaging requirements, and destination details

  • Negotiate pricing and terms directly with sellers (lead time, incoterms where applicable, payment terms, labeling, quality specs)

  • Place bulk orders, including pallet and container-level commercial export orders

  • Use platform-supported logistics coordination and documentation guidance, including export-readiness requirements when applicable

Communication & follow-through (what makes it different):

  • We support Seller-specific Live Chat so buyers can talk directly with the right seller faster

  • Platform Live Chat is also available to escalate urgent matters and bring attention to time-sensitive issues

  • With our latest seller CRM release, communications across key channels—live chat, email, contact form inquiries, and follow-up workflows—are organized and monitored for accountability and faster turnaround

This means buyers can expect serious coordination from our side to help ensure a competitive, reliable wholesale transaction end-to-end.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Click Sign In, then select Forgot Your Password. Enter your registered email address, and a password reset link will be sent to you so you can create a new password.

Are products shipped from Nepal or locally?

ExportFromNepal.com supports both ship-from-Nepal exports and local (in-country) fulfillment, depending on the Seller Country shown on the product listing, the order tier (Retail / Wholesale / Export), and the seller account type. In general, products ship from the same country/region as the seller’s address unless the listing is part of a virtual, Nepal-fulfilled program.

  • If the listing shows Seller Country = Nepal:
The product will be shipped from Nepal. This applies to both retail and wholesale items listed by Nepal-based sellers.

  • Export-tier listings (default rule):
If the item is listed under the Export tier, it must go through the full export process and is shipped from Nepal by default.

  • If the listing shows Seller Country = a foreign country:
The product is shipped from that country (from the seller’s local address/warehouse), for both retail and wholesale listings.

  • Made in Nepal Center (Virtual Storefronts):
All Made in Nepal Center listings are virtual and fulfilled from Nepal, even though the storefront is country-specific for marketing and buyer discovery.

  • Made in Nepal Prayas Center (Virtual Fundraising Model):
Made in Nepal Prayas Center is also a virtual listing model (similar to Made in Nepal Center). Items are generally fulfilled and shipped from Nepal, unless a specific campaign clearly states local inventory/fulfillment.

  • Made in Nepal GiftShop (Physical Inventory Model):
Made in Nepal GiftShop listings represent physical inventory held in the seller’s stated location. Orders ship from the seller address/country shown on the listing (e.g., a U.S.-based GiftShop ships from the U.S.).

Default principle: Unless a listing is explicitly part of a Nepal-fulfilled virtual program (Made in Nepal Center / Prayas Center) or an export-tier listing, orders ship from the seller’s listed address/warehouse in the same country/region as the seller.

How do I list my products on ExportfromNepal.com?

You can list and manage your products through your seller dashboard. For detailed, step-by-step instructions, please refer to the user manual.

Are products compliant with international regulations?

Yes. Sellers are responsible for product quality and compliance (FDA, USDA, labeling, COO, etc.). ExportFromNepal.com performs regular compliance checks and may suspend sellers after repeated violations.

How can I register a buyer account on ExportfromNepal.com?

Click Sign In at the top right of the platform, then select Create an Account and complete the registration. For step-by-step guidance, please refer to the user manual.

Do I need a separate buyer account if I already have a seller account?

No. A seller account also works as a buyer account. You can make purchases using the same account without creating a separate one.

How do I find products or services on ExportfromNepal.com?

Use the search bar to look for products or services. You can filter results by Exporter, Wholesaler, or Retailer to choose the type of supplier that best fits your needs. Multiple suppliers may offer similar products, giving you options to compare.

Can I see product details such as price, MOQ, and shipping information?

Yes. Clicking on a product opens the product details page, where you can view the price, minimum order quantity (MOQ), shipping fees, and shipment terms.

Why do similar products have different prices?

Prices are set by individual sellers. Differences may be due to quality, quantity, supplier type, or seller pricing, so prices can vary even for similar products. You can choose the product and supplier that best match your requirements.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Delivery time varies based on the seller, order quantity, shipping method, and destination country.

  • For bulk orders, the seller will provide an estimated delivery date during the RFQ process.

  • For retail orders, the seller will share the delivery timeline after the order is confirmed.

How can I track my order?

After placing your order and completing payment, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Once your order is shipped, a tracking number and tracking link will be sent to you so you can monitor the delivery status.

How do I contact a supplier?

You can message a supplier directly through the platform by clicking Message Supplier on the product details page. You can also view additional supplier information on the seller’s profile page.

Can I contact suppliers outside ExportfromNepal.com?

We strongly recommend communicating within the ExportfromNepal.com platform. This helps ensure transparency and provides support in case of order issues or disputes.

For Sellers/Exporters

Who can become a seller on ExportFromNepal.com?

ExportFromNepal.com welcomes any legitimate individual, business, or organization that sells Nepal-origin (“Made in Nepal”) products and services, and can meet our platform’s quality, compliance, and order-handling requirements. We encourage participation from both Nepal-based sellers and global sellers in any country—especially those who help improve local availability, competitive pricing, faster delivery, or even physical pickup options.

Seller Acceptance Rule (One-line):
A seller must offer Nepal-origin products/services and agree to platform compliance, verified identity/business details, and reliable order fulfillment and customer support standards.

Eligible sellers include:

  • Nepal-based sellers: manufacturers, producers, exporters, wholesalers, retailers, cooperatives, and brand owners.

  • Global sellers (including non-Nepali foreign nationals): sellers in a foreign country who source Nepal-origin products in wholesale from Nepal (whether purchased through our platform or outside) and list them for retail and/or wholesale locally—helping expand exposure, improve shipping options, enable competitive pricing, and sometimes offer local pickup through physical locations.

  • Brand owners (Nepal or global): brands selling Nepal-origin goods, including private-label and distribution-ready product lines.

  • Nonprofit organizations (Nepali and non-Nepali): nonprofits can participate for fundraising and impact commerce—whether or not they are Nepali-led, and whether or not they run Nepal-specific programs.

Why we strongly encourage non-Nepali global sellers and nonprofits:
In many countries, import/distribution is an economy-wide activity. For scale context, the U.S. had an estimated 225,000 people identifying as Nepalese in 2023 , while the U.S. Census reported 226,662 identified importing companies in 2021 . This scale difference supports our belief that non-Nepali businesses can represent a significant share of Nepal-origin products abroad, and we actively welcome them to help grow a stronger “Made in Nepal” ecosystem.

What types of seller accounts are available?

We have developed multiple seller account types (available globally), including:

  • National Sellers (Nepal-based): Seller accounts selling products at Retail, Wholesale, and Export levels from Nepal.

  • Foreign Sellers Globally (outside Nepal): Seller accounts selling products at Retail and Wholesale levels from outside Nepal (for example, a seller from the U.S. can sell their Nepali-origin products on our platform).

  • Made in Nepal Center Globally (virtual): ExportFromNepal.com-sponsored seller accounts with virtual product listings fulfilled from Nepal.

  • Made in Nepal Gift Shop Globally (physical): ExportFromNepal.com-sponsored, partnership-based seller accounts with physical inventory stored in the U.S. or other countries.

  • Made in Nepal Prayas Center Globally (non-profit/fundraising): ExportFromNepal.com-facilitated, nonprofit-driven product fundraising model from any part of the world.

Do you use CAPTCHA or security checks?

Yes. Platform security includes bot protection, risk-based verification, and compliance monitoring. Mobile apps may use invisible/backend verification for a better UX.

Does ExportFromNepal.com act as the exporter of record?

No—unless separately agreed in writing for a specific transaction. In most cases, ExportFromNepal.com functions as a trade facilitation and coordination platform (marketing, discovery, RFQ/negotiation support, documentation guidance, and logistics coordination), while the seller remains responsible for export execution and compliance.

That said, based on our operational experience, we can also help arrange the right parties for execution when needed:

  • Exporter-of-record support (Nepal side): If a seller is not positioned to export directly, we can introduce and coordinate with qualified Nepal-based export partners who can act as the exporter of record under their own license and compliance, subject to product/category eligibility and a separate scope/fee agreement.

  • Importer-of-record support (destination country): If the destination requires an importer of record, we can coordinate with an appropriate import partner in that country to act as importer of record, clear the shipment, and move it through to the buyer/distributor warehouse or agreed delivery point.

Key point: ExportFromNepal.com can connect and coordinate the ecosystem (exporter partners, import partners, freight, and compliance steps), but exporter/importer-of-record responsibilities are handled by the properly licensed entities unless a written agreement explicitly assigns that role differently.

How can I get started?

Getting started is simple. Visit ExportFromNepal.com and choose the path that fits you—Buyer, Seller, Wholesale Buyer, Brand Owner, Nonprofit, Influencer, Affiliate, or Affiliate Partner—then submit your request so our onboarding team can guide you step-by-step.

Best ways to reach us:

  • Use our 24/7 Live Chat on the website for quick help and next steps

  • Submit the Contact Us form and select the most relevant option from the dropdown (Seller, Buyer, Wholesale, Affiliate Partner, Nonprofit, etc.) so your request is routed correctly

  • Message our Global CRM WhatsApp number: +1-888-533-5320

Once we receive your details, we’ll help you with onboarding, compliance requirements, listings setup, and the right tools (complimentary or advanced) based on your goals.

Do sellers need to export themselves?

It depends on the order type and shipping model. In general, sellers must ensure the product is export-ready, but the level of seller involvement differs for retail vs wholesale/export orders. As clarified in EFN-11, ExportFromNepal.com typically does not act as exporter of record; however, we can coordinate licensed exporter/importer partners when needed.

  • For Retail / Small Orders (standard fulfillment):
Sellers are mainly responsible for product readiness, quality, packaging, and labeling. In many cases, our forwarder/logistics partners handle most export-process steps (shipping documentation and routing), while the seller cooperates by providing accurate product details and required paperwork (when applicable).

  • For Wholesale / Bulk / Export-tier Orders:
Sellers must be more directly involved. They are responsible for preparing export-ready goods and coordinating packaging, labeling, documentation, and commercial requirements (e.g., invoice, packing list, certifications where needed). ExportFromNepal.com supports by facilitating the process and connecting the seller with appropriate freight/export partners, but the seller (or a separately appointed licensed exporter partner) remains responsible for export execution unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Logistics Partner Support (Shipping & Forwarding):

Amir Bagale, Head of Logistics, ExportFromNepal.com & HamroSaman.com  | Founder & CEO of Direct Way Cargo

Partner: Direct Way Cargo, Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal

Direct Way Cargo from Nepal have been with ExportFromNepal.com since the inception days, and the platform is honored to partner with them for all three shipment tiers (retail, wholesale, and export/commercial) for shipping arrangement and forwarding services. They have access to our CRM system, with a team on standby 24/7 for orders that include product + shipping—or even if you purchase shipping services only through our platform.

Simple rule: Retail is often forwarder-led, while wholesale/export is seller-led (with platform coordination and partner support).

How do sellers get paid?

Seller payouts depend on the transaction type (retail vs. wholesale vs. large commercial export), but all models follow a transparent release process tied to order status, delivery milestones, and buyer claim/satisfaction windows.

  • Retail & small orders (typically one-shot payment):
Retail orders are generally paid 100% at checkout. After delivery is confirmed and the defined claim window closes (no unresolved claim), seller settlements are processed on a 15-day cycle (e.g., 1st and 15th), after deducting the applicable platform commission and service charges.

  • Wholesale orders (milestone / staged payments):
Wholesale transactions often use partial or milestone-based payments to reduce risk and ensure quality. Common stages may include:

    1. Sample / trial order (if required)

    2. Production or shipment readiness confirmation

    3. Shipment dispatch / documentation completion

    4. Delivery and buyer satisfaction confirmation
Payment timing and release terms are aligned with the agreed wholesale arrangement and may be coordinated through the platform and/or involved trade partners.

  • Export / large commercial volume (exporter-led collections):
For container-level or large commercial shipments, an exporter or trade execution partner is typically involved and may collect funds directly as part of the commercial export process. In these cases, sellers often receive funds before the container is released (as per commercial terms). ExportFromNepal.com then issues an invoice for its agreed commission to the relevant party—either the seller/brand partner and/or the exporter directly involved—based on the agreed MOU or transaction terms.

Key principle: Retail is usually single-payment + scheduled settlement, wholesale is often milestone-based, and large commercial export is typically exporter-led payment handling with EFN commission invoicing.

What commission does the platform charge?

Commission varies by category, transaction type (retail vs. wholesale vs. export), service effort, and the specific terms agreed in the applicable MOU or category table. In line with common marketplace industry practice, commissions typically fall within a negotiated range—especially for retail categories and services that require higher marketing and operational effort.

  • Retail / Marketplace (often 10%–20%):
Retail commission is generally ~10% as a baseline, but may increase (up to ~20%) depending on factors such as:

    • Product category and margin profile

    • Higher-effort support (e.g., brand-new product launch, premium merchandising, heavier customer service load)

    • Additional marketing or operational coordination
Final retail commission is typically recorded in the category/commission table at the bottom of the seller agreement or in the product-specific terms.

  • Wholesale (more flexible / relationship-based):
Wholesale commission is often more flexible because orders can be repeatable and volume-driven. Terms may be adjusted based on:

    • MOQ and order frequency

    • Buyer acquisition effort

    • Exclusivity/non-bypass commitments (seller agrees not to bypass clients introduced through the platform)
Wholesale commission is defined per product or per agreement/MOU.

  • Export / Large Commercial Orders (negotiated across trade partners):
Export commission is typically negotiated based on the full execution chain, which may include:

    • Exporter partner involvement

    • Importer partner involvement

    • Distributor/warehouse delivery requirements

    • The level of involvement of the seller/manufacturer/brand owner
As a result, export commission is usually case-by-case and documented in the relevant MOU or transaction agreement.

No hidden fees: ExportFromNepal.com does not charge hidden fees beyond clearly agreed commissions and any explicitly defined service charges (e.g., optional marketing, CRM upgrades, logistics/3PL billed separately where applicable).

ESCROW-LIKE BUYER & SELLER PROTECTION

Does ExportFromNepal.com provide escrow-like protection for transactions?

Yes. ExportFromNepal.com provides an escrow-like payment protection model to help safeguard both buyers and sellers. In applicable transactions, buyer funds are collected and held under a controlled settlement process and are released only after pre-defined milestones are met—such as shipment/dispatch confirmation, delivery confirmation, and the closure of any agreed claim or verification window. This structure is designed to reduce fraud and misunderstandings, support fair dispute handling, and create a more predictable and trusted trade experience—especially for cross-border, wholesale, and export transactions where verification and documentation matter.

Additionally, retail and wholesale orders are contract-secured because participating sellers operate under a formal Seller MOU with ExportFromNepal.com, which defines obligations around quality, fulfillment, compliance, dispute handling, and non-bypass commitments. Similarly, for large commercial export flows, even though exporters follow the standard commercial export process, exporters involved in transactions where ExportFromNepal.com participates are also engaged under an MOU with ExportFromNepal.com, ensuring accountability and consistent governance across the full trade chain.

Can partners or sellers exit later?

Yes. Partnerships and equity-based projects may have defined maturity/vesting periods and allow cash-out based on mutual agreement or valuation.

How does buyer protection work?

Buyer funds are collected and monitored through the platform and released to the seller only after delivery confirmation and a defined claim window. If products are not delivered, misrepresented, or defective, ExportFromNepal.com coordinates resolution before funds are released.

What is your long-term vision?

To build a global Made in Nepal ecosystem, omni-channel marketplaces, export intelligence platforms, and supply-chain transparency from raw materials to finished goods.

How does seller protection work?

Sellers are protected through verified buyer onboarding, clear order terms, protection from chargeback abuse, and mediation support. Once delivery is confirmed and no valid claim is raised, seller payments are released per settlement schedule.

Does ExportFromNepal.com hold payments indefinitely?

No. Funds are held temporarily and released based on delivery confirmation, claim window closure, and compliance with platform policies.

What happens in case of a dispute?

ExportFromNepal.com acts as a neutral facilitator, coordinating between buyer and seller to review order details, verify delivery and product compliance, and reach a resolution under platform policy and applicable law.

AI-POWERED CRM & DIGITAL TRADE SYSTEM

What is ExportFromNepal.com’s AI-powered CRM system?

ExportFromNepal.com’s AI-powered CRM is a trade-focused customer relationship and digital commerce coordination system built to help sellers and partner teams manage leads and orders end-to-end—across retail, wholesale, and export workflows. It enables structured handling of inquiries, RFQs, follow-ups, and deal pipelines, and supports multi-channel communication (including seller-specific chats) so each lead is actively worked until closure.

Why this CRM matters (what we learned from Phase 1):
In earlier phases, we learned that a traditional setup—where sellers rely only on a seller dashboard or isolated tools—does not reliably convert leads, especially when most sellers cannot realistically afford or manage complex CRM licensing and technical overhead on their own. We also learned we were missing a critical operational gap: routing the right lead to the right seller and ensuring consistent follow-up. Past attempts using a seller dashboard and even third-party CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) did not create the traction needed for scalable conversion.

What’s different now:
With the current AI-powered CRM system, we can operate a shared, scalable sales-and-support layer that allows:

  • 10s to 100s of seller representatives and internal team members (including country teams under Made in Nepal Centers) to collaborate in a coordinated way

  • Lead-specific private chat and outbound follow-up, so every inquiry is tracked, assigned, and actively worked

  • Affiliate Partner data ownership inside CRM, where affiliate partners can own and manage the leads they bring, and ethically cross-sell/up-sell across multiple seller accounts they are appointed for

  • Better execution and accountability so each lead and each order is handled with clearer responsibility, visibility, and follow-through using one system

In short, this CRM is not just “software”—it is the operational engine that makes large-scale seller growth possible across multiple countries and multiple seller programs within the Made in Nepal club platforms ecosystem.

Who can use the CRM system?

The CRM is available to sellers, exporters, brand owners, wholesalers, nonprofits, and affiliates operating within the ExportFromNepal.com ecosystem.

What are the CRM pricing tiers?

  • Tier 1 – Complimentary (Default): Free for compliant sellers; essential CRM and inquiry/order tracking
  • Tier 2 – Pay-As-You-Go: Usage-based pricing for campaigns/automation/messaging
  • Tier 3 – Subscription Plan: Monthly/annual plan with advanced automation and multi-channel tools

Is CRM access mandatory?

No. However, CRM users typically receive higher visibility, convert more leads, maintain stronger compliance performance, and scale faster.

YAA AI DIGITAL MARKETING PARTNERSHIP

Who is Yaa AI, and how are they involved?

Yaa AI is ExportFromNepal.com’s official digital marketing and AI growth partner, offering professional services for brand building, global eCommerce growth, performance marketing, and AI-enabled automation. Yaa AI is owned and managed by its Founder & CEO, Prakash Manandhar (MIT background), who has also built and scaled multiple brands from scratch using his proven technology and execution playbooks across major marketplaces.

Prakash Manandhar also serves as Cofounder & Global CTO supporting the broader Made in Nepal Club technology vision; however, Yaa AI is a separate legal business entity and does not hold ownership in ExportFromNepal.com by default. This separation is intentional to avoid conflicts of interest and to ensure sellers have full choice and transparency.

How sellers engage with Yaa AI:

  • Yaa AI services are optional and delivered through a separate MOU/engagement agreement based on each seller’s growth plan, goals, and marketing budget.

  • Plans are customized and may cover both ExportFromNepal.com growth and expansion on other sales channels where the seller wants to scale, such as Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Faire, Shopify, and other relevant platforms.

What makes Yaa AI different?

Yaa AI brings proven experience launching brands on Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, and Faire, and offers hands-on support for positioning, optimization, and customer acquisition—often at competitive, seller-friendly pricing.

How does Yaa AI support ExportFromNepal.com sellers?

Yaa AI helps sellers set up professional listings, build campaigns, use AI tools, integrate with CRM workflows, and expand to global marketplaces.

Is Yaa AI mandatory for sellers?

No. Yaa AI is optional but recommended for new brands, international expansion, high-growth sellers, and sellers targeting the U.S./EU markets.

COMPLIANCE & LONG-TERM VALUE

What happens if a seller is non-compliant?

Non-compliance may result in warning notices, temporary restrictions, loss of complimentary CRM access, and platform suspension after repeated violations.

Why does ExportFromNepal.com combine escrow, CRM, and AI marketing?

Because exporting successfully requires trust (escrow-like protection), visibility (global marketing), and execution (CRM + logistics). ExportFromNepal.com integrates all three.

How does this benefit buyers globally?

Global buyers benefit because ExportFromNepal.com is built to deliver a trusted, transparent, and competitive buying experience—while keeping the mission centered on Nepal’s grassroots production economy. At its core, the platform is designed to highlight native, grassroots Nepali manufacturers and artisans—their craftsmanship, heritage, and story—so every purchase carries real meaning and impact.

Key buyer benefits include:

  • A mission-first marketplace: Products showcased on the platform are intended to originate from grassroots Nepali makers—so buyers can feel confident that their purchase supports real Nepali producers and their livelihoods.

  • Global participation without losing authenticity: While manufacturing is intended to remain rooted in Nepal’s grassroots ecosystem, Nepali product lovers—regardless of nationality—are welcome to participate as sellers/resellers in their local country (retail/wholesale), helping expand access, improve delivery options, enable local pickup, and grow demand for Made in Nepal goods.

  • Verified and accountable sellers: Sellers operate under platform governance, MOUs, and compliance expectations—helping reduce risk and improve reliability.

  • Transparent listings and competitive shopping: Buyers get clearer product information, strong visuals, pricing, shipping terms, and policies—so they can compare confidently and buy at competitive market rates.

  • Ratings, reviews, and performance signals: Buyers can evaluate seller reliability and product quality over time.

  • Escrow-like protection and dispute support: Transactions lean toward buyer confidence through milestone-based settlement logic and dispute facilitation.

  • Active seller enablement: Sellers are encouraged to stay updated and use at least complimentary tools/support; ExportFromNepal.com seller managers are available to help improve listing accuracy, readiness, and buyer clarity.

Bottom line: Buyers around the world can purchase peacefully with assurance—knowing that every order is designed to uplift Nepal’s grassroots manufacturers and share their story, while global sellers help make those Made in Nepal products easier to discover and buy worldwide.

How does this benefit Nepal-based sellers?

Nepal-based sellers benefit because ExportFromNepal.com is designed to make global selling practical and scalable even for grassroots manufacturers who may not have dedicated export teams, advanced software, or international marketing budgets. The platform provides a structured pathway to reach global buyers while reducing the operational burden through shared infrastructure, guided compliance, and optional partner support.

Key benefits include:

  • Global market access with lower upfront cost: Sellers can reach retail, wholesale, and export buyers internationally without building their own overseas sales network from day one.

  • A trusted selling environment: Seller participation is backed by platform MOUs, compliance practices, and escrow-like settlement principles that build buyer confidence and reduce dispute risk.

  • Lead generation + better lead-to-seller routing: Unlike earlier phase approaches, the updated system is built to route the right inquiry to the right seller and ensure consistent follow-up so opportunities don’t get lost.

  • AI-powered CRM in 3 tiers: Sellers can start with complimentary CRM access (as long as they remain compliant), and upgrade to pay-as-you-go or subscription plans when scaling—making advanced tools accessible even for small producers.

  • Multi-team collaboration to close deals: Sellers can be supported by seller representatives, country-based “Made in Nepal Center” teams, and platform staff in lead-specific chat and negotiation workflows—helping them respond faster and close more deals.

  • Optional digital marketing acceleration (Yaa AI): Sellers can sign a separate MOU for customized marketing and brand-building plans, including expansion to Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Faire, Shopify, and more—based on their budget and growth goals.

  • Logistics and fulfillment expansion options: As sellers grow, they can leverage logistics coordination and, where applicable, 3PL/warehouse pathways to position inventory closer to buyers and compete on delivery speed and cost.

In short: Nepal-based sellers get a practical, guided, and technology-enabled route to become export-ready—while keeping their focus on what they do best: making great Made in Nepal products.

FOR BRAND OWNERS (NEPAL & GLOBAL)

Can global brands sell Nepali-origin products on the platform?

Yes. Foreign and global brand owners can list Made in Nepal products or Nepal-sourced goods under Foreign Seller accounts.

Do you support private-label or white-label exports?

Yes. We support private labeling, white-label manufacturing, and custom branding for wholesale buyers.

Can brands use your CRM and marketing tools?

Yes. Our Gen AI-powered CRM & marketing stack supports email/WhatsApp/SMS automation, affiliate & influencer campaigns, regional targeting, and sales funnel tracking.

FOR AFFILIATE PARTNERS & INFLUENCERS

What is the affiliate program and who are Affiliate Partners?

1) Affiliate Link Program (for Everyone — Two Types)

Who: Any user/buyer account can participate by generating a tracked affiliate link.

1A) Nonprofit Affiliate Link (Fundraising Mode)

  • Purpose: Raise funds for a nonprofit/cause using affiliate-link attribution

  • How it works: Share a unique affiliate link; sales attributed to that link count toward fundraising

  • Earning/Benefit: A defined fundraising share is allocated to the nonprofit (reported transparently)

  • Important: This is NOT the Prayas Center seller account. It’s a lightweight affiliate-link fundraising option.

1B) General Affiliate Link (Promotion Mode)

  • Purpose: Promotion/creator/influencer affiliate marketing

  • How it works: Share a unique affiliate link (or code); sales tracked by attribution

  • Earning: Commission per attributed sale (campaign rules may vary)

  • No operational responsibility required: Mainly marketing and traffic/sales generation

Key feature of Program #1: It is link-based attribution. You earn/benefit when sales happen through your link.

2) Affiliate Partner Program (MOU-Based, Hands-On Growth Partner)

Who: A selected “hands-on” partner (can be an influencer too) who actively supports sellers and/or operates regional programs.

How it works: Affiliate Partner signs an MOU and acts as a local/regional business operator and representative, such as:

  • Supporting assigned sellers as brand ambassador + representative

  • Managing leads (RFQ/wholesale/export), negotiations, buyer follow-ups

  • Coordinating with Made in Nepal Centers globally (country-based virtual storefront operations)

  • Assisting listing readiness, communications, cross-selling/up-selling across multiple assigned seller accounts (within CRM rules)

Earning model:

  • 10% commission on sales on behalf of the seller account holder, or as defined for the scope (including managing Made in Nepal Centers globally).

  • This is a bigger return than link-only affiliate programs because it includes real operational work, accountability, and measurable responsibilities.

Key feature of Program #2: It is service + operations based, backed by an MOU, and offers higher upside for deeper involvement.

One-line difference

  • Affiliate Link Program (1): Share link → sales tracked → commission/fundraising share

  • Affiliate Partner Program (2): Sign MOU → run operations/representation → earn 10%+ based on defined scope

Can influencers sell without inventory?

Yes. Influencers can act as digital promoters and use dropshipping or fulfillment support under affiliate partnership models.

Is this available globally?

Yes. Affiliates and influencers can operate from any country.

FOR NON-PROFITS & SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS

Is revenue sharing transparent?

Yes. Each campaign has defined margins, clear reporting, and ethical/fair-trade principles.

LOGISTICS, 3PL & INFRASTRUCTURE

Are logistics costs included in commission?

No. Logistics, warehousing, and 3PL costs are billed separately and treated as operational expenses.

FOR AFFILIATES, INFLUENCERS & NONPROFITS
SECURITY, IP & GOVERNANCE

Do you use CAPTCHA or security checks?

Yes. Platform security includes bot protection, risk-based verification, and compliance monitoring. Mobile apps may use invisible/backend verification for a better UX.

EXIT, GROWTH & PARTNERSHIPS

Can partners or sellers exit later?

Yes. Partnerships and equity-based projects may have defined maturity/vesting periods and allow cash-out based on mutual agreement or valuation.

To build a global Made in Nepal ecosystem, omni-channel marketplaces, export intelligence platforms, and supply-chain transparency from raw materials to finished goods.
