Bhojpur is a district of Kosi zone of Nepal. Which lies in eastern part of Nepal, from which comes the name of this particular khukuri. The kami (Black smith) of this town became so expert in making khukuri is that in short span of time. They made this product. Its became famous and popular in all over Nepal.This khukuri is slightly bigger and heavier than the standard issued military khukuri, this is not a military issue khukuri,it’s a farm multipurpose tool, both for agriculture and house hold purpose. Bhojpure khukuri is designed and based on “Bas-pate” (Bamboo-leaf). Shape of this khukuri is more wider like the bamboo leaf, occasionally the western style of khukuri is also known as “Budhuna” khukuri. (a fish with a large head). BHOJPURE KHUKURI KUKRI is primarily designed with the purpose of chopping form being quite straight to highly curved with angled, so smooth spines substantial variations can be seen dimensions in this khukuri.
