BSI KHUKURI (BRITISH STANDARD ISSUE) This classical combat khukuri is issued on 1950s to early 1960s. This khukuri is much lighter and shorter than others Gurkhas issue khukuri .This khukuri is extremly advantage for gurkhas to use as weapons or utility. This khukuri is also known as MK-V (mark5) khukuri, BAS khukuri (British Army standard ),BSI khukuri (British Army issue) and falkland kukuri. This khukuri is used by Gurkhas Army in many battles and Active services for world peace, and its also issued For three New regiments of Gurkhas .(Queen’s Gurkha Engineer, Queen’s Gurkhas signals and Queen’s own Gurkhas Logistic Regiments).In 1948 -1960 (malayam Emergency), 1962-1966 (Borneo Confrontation), 1982 (Falklands war), 1990-2000 (Kosoro to sierra leone), 2001-2014 (Afghanistan), 2003-2011 ( Irag), and 2014 (Ebola).
