One of the historical Khukuri is the Mustange sarkhari that was issued to the Gurkhas during the 1950s to early 1990s, what could be considered the "Cold War Era Khukuri”. The Mustange sarkhari comes in satin finish or a high polish and available with two handle choices of Horn or Indian Rosewood. This Mustange sarkhari is built to be used hard, yet with its hollow grind blade it is light and fast extremely well balanced. This is the official Khukuri, Gurkha Knife Carried by government officer. This is a set khukri for wearing the National Dress of Nepal.
