Cashmere-Silk Wrap Shawl with Cream Color
Composition
Cashmere-Gold of Fabric
Cashmere is a type of wool that comes from high mountain goats specially bred for their soft undercoat, from which the cashmere fibers are made. The material comes from Cashmere goats and Pashmina goats from the Himalayan region of Asia. The fine undercoat, consisting of dense, soft and thin hair of the goats is used to create fabrics. It is this undercoat that gives cashmere wool its unique characteristics.
SILK
Unlike cotton or hemp, which are made from plant fibers, silk is a protein fiber made from the saliva of silkworms, a small insect scientifically known as the Bombyx mori moth
Blending
The addition of silk makes garments stronger and easier to manufacture, while not taking too much away from the softness or thermal properties of the resulting fabric
